1. Who we are

Tipzy ("we", "us", "Tipzy") operates thetipzy.com, a marketplace where independent tipsters publish sports predictions and where their results are tracked and displayed. Tipzy is not a bookmaker, does not accept stakes or wagers, and does not settle bets. All wagering happens on third-party bookmaker platforms, entirely outside Tipzy.

Operator legal name, registered address, and company registration number to be added here. These terms are governed by the law stated in Section 12.

2. Eligibility

Use of this service is restricted to individuals aged 21 or over, consistent with the age requirement set by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (ΕΕΕΠ) for gambling-adjacent services offered to consumers in Greece. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 21 years old and that using Tipzy is lawful in the place where you access it. We may ask for proof of age and may suspend an account until it is provided.

3. Accounts

You need an account to publish picks, subscribe to a tipster, or use the dashboard; browsing public picks, the leaderboard, and odds comparisons does not require one. You agree to:

  • provide an accurate name and a working email address;
  • keep one account per person;
  • keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization;
  • be responsible for activity that happens under your account.

We may suspend or close an account that provides false information, is used to abuse the platform, or breaches Section 8. Where reasonably possible we will tell you why before or when we do this.

4. Tipster obligations

If you register as a tipster, in addition to the account obligations above:

  • picks must be submitted before the event or market they refer to starts;
  • a submitted pick cannot be edited or withdrawn once the event has started, so that your published record reflects what you actually called;
  • you may not misrepresent your track record, past results, or credentials;
  • you may not guarantee returns, use "sure win" or similarly misleading language, or claim an affiliation with a bookmaker or sports body you do not have;
  • results are settled from official match data and bookmaker closing prices. Attempting to manipulate settlement, or submitting picks for events you know to be fixed or corrupt, is grounds for immediate suspension and removal of the affected picks from your public record.

5. Nature of the content

Predictions published on Tipzy are the opinions of the tipster who posted them, not financial or betting advice, and not an offer or solicitation to bet. A tipster's recorded win rate, yield, and profit describe past results only; they are not a guarantee, promise, or reliable predictor of future performance. Any decision to place a bet, and any resulting win or loss, is yours alone.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Some tipsters offer a paid subscription tier at a price they set, shown on their profile. Paid subscriptions are not yet available on Tipzy — pricing is displayed for information, and no payment is currently collected through the platform. When paid subscriptions launch, this section will be updated with the payment provider used, billing cycle, cancellation, and refund terms before any payment is taken, and you will be asked to accept the updated terms at that time.

7. Affiliate relationships

Some bookmakers listed on Tipzy (see /bookmakers) are affiliate partners: if you open an account with them through a link on our site, we may earn a commission. This does not change the odds, terms, or price you get from that bookmaker, and it does not influence how any tipster's record is calculated, verified, or ranked — those come from the same settlement pipeline regardless of which bookmaker a pick references.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, systematically copy, or resell picks, tipster records, or odds data published on Tipzy;
  • access the service through automated means other than a documented API we provide;
  • attempt to bypass subscription paywalls or access controls;
  • use the service to harass, defraud, or impersonate another person or tipster;
  • interfere with the platform's operation or attempt to access data that is not yours.

9. Liability

Tipzy is provided "as is." We work to keep tipster records accurate and the service available, but we do not guarantee that odds, results, or statistics are error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for betting losses arising from your own decisions or from a tipster's picks.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Greek or EU consumer-protection law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. For material changes — anything that reduces your rights or introduces payment obligations — we will notify registered users by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

11. Termination

You may stop using Tipzy and delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us (Section 13). We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of Sections 3, 4, or 8. Sections 5, 9, and 11 survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
