Tipzy publishes measured records so you can tell a real tipster from a good story. It does not publish a way to win. Betting is a form of entertainment with a negative expected return for almost everyone who does it, and no record on this site changes that.

If you bet, bet money you can lose without it mattering.

Stay in control

  • Decide the amount before you start, not while you are behind. Set a deposit limit with your bookmaker so the decision is not yours to revisit at 1am.
  • Set a time limit. Every licensed operator offers session reminders. Turn them on.
  • Never chase losses. Increasing stakes to recover a losing run is the single most reliable way to turn a bad week into a serious one.
  • Take breaks. If you cannot go a week without a bet, that is information.
  • Never borrow to bet. Not from a card, not from an overdraft, not from a person.

Warning signs

Any of these is worth taking seriously:

  • Spending more money or more time than you intended, repeatedly.
  • Feeling anxious, restless or irritable when you are not gambling.
  • Borrowing money or selling things to fund bets.
  • Letting work, study, family or friendships slide.
  • Hiding the extent of your gambling, or lying about it.

Self-exclusion

Every licensed operator must let you exclude yourself, and most countries run a national scheme that covers every licensed operator at once — GAMSTOP in the UK, ROFUS in Denmark, Spelpaus in Sweden, OASIS in Germany. Search for the scheme in your jurisdiction. Self-exclusion is binding on the operator, and it works.

Tipzy has no account balance, takes no deposits and settles no bets, so there is nothing here to exclude yourself from. If you want to stop seeing this site, blocking software such as Gamban or BetBlocker will cover it along with everything else.

Age

Gambling is restricted to adults. The minimum legal age, the operators you may lawfully use, and the protections available to you are set by the country you live in. Check your local rules before betting.

What that money does not buy:

  • It does not affect any record on this site. Tipster records are computed from settled picks by the process described in Methodology. No operator, tipster or advertiser can pay to change a number, and none has ever been asked to.
  • It does not affect which tipsters we track, or the order they appear in.
  • It is not a recommendation to bet. A bookmaker being listed here means it holds a licence we could verify, not that you should open an account with it.
